FREE screening of Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix Live at the Isle of Wight presented by 99Rock. The concert film will begin at 7 p.m. Sun., Nov. 13 at the Events Plaza. Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs for seating. Coolers and outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Directed by Murray Lerner, Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix Live at the Isle of Wight features never before seen live footage of Jimi Hendrix. The film documents the guitarist’s legendary performance before 600,000 people at the massive outdoor music and arts festival in 1970. Hendrix headlined an impressive bill, which also included The Who, the Doors, Free, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, and Miles Davis.
